Mystery lover? Francophile? Denver resident? Lucky you — Cara Black, author of Paris-based mystery novels starring French-American Aimee Leduc, will be in town this weekend for a series of booksignings, both in the state capital and in Colorado Springs. She’ll also be touring various other cities and states throughout the rest of the spring (from AZ to TX to VA), so if you’re so inclined check out her event schedule on her site. It’s exhausting just looking at it. (By the way, ignore the part where it says “2007 schedule” at the top. This is an updated list of events for 2008.) California residents should keep an eye out soon, as she’ll be zigzagging around your state again (she lives in San Francisco) starting on the 12th through the 25th of this month, after which she’ll be zipping back eastward.
Cara’s new book, Murder in the Rue de Paradis, is out in bookshops now. I’ll be reviewing it here in three weeks, so stay tuned!
