Just wanted to send out a quick reminder (although I realize I’m doing this on a Friday, when readership plummets goes home early for the day) that I’m running a poll trying to figure out if anyone would be interested in attending a Francophile-focused book club in the Mid-Cities/Arlington/Fort Worth area. If you’re nowhere near this region, though, I’m also interested in finding out if anyone would be interested in an online book club. Don’t worry, this isn’t about academic questions of deep import (although I’m totally not averse to that!). Rather, I’m looking to discuss French-related books with like-minded souls in a more interactive environment than the blog. So if you have a second, please click on over to the poll and let me know! Wow, you have been blogging away. I am impressed. I have been taking a break from all bloggy things this summer other than checking in on friends occasionally. I am planning some major changes in the fall to my blogging system and ideas because if I don't, I'm going to drop it completely. Any ideas would be welcome!
