It’s done! At last! After years of talking about it, I finally finished the new site for My Inner French Girl.
I had hoped to have this up and running in time for Bastille Day, but, well, you know how things go. In any case, I’m so happy to introduce to you the revamped MIFG, complete with original artwork (the beautiful header above is by Lindsay Randall Boone, a local artist), its inaugural podcast, and of course, all of my favorite things to offer you, including more book and film reviews, news, giveaways, and commentaries. There’s even an MIFG Shop, sponsored by Amazon.com, where you can buy all kinds of French-related books, music, movies, and other products of interest to Francophiles. And yes, all books and films I review on MIFG are listed there as well. And remember: every purchase you make supports this site, so I hope you visit often!
It’s been a long time a-comin’, but I hope you like what you see so far. I’m always, always open to suggestions and comments, so feel free to contact me anytime if you want to throw your two francs in.
Oh,and please don’t forget to subscribe to the site’s new feed! Whether you subscribe via a reader or by email, you’ll always be sure to get the latest updates on the site. You can easily subscribe using the links on the far right column. Remember that because this is a new site with a its own new feed, you’ll need to re-subscribe even if you were already subscribed to the old site.
And lastly, if you’re on Twitter, my ID is @innerfrenchgirl. You can also click on the funny blue “Follow Me” widget on the right edge of your screen.
Thanks a million to MIFG’s loyal readers for their support, and a big, hearty Welcome to new readers as well. Hope you come visit often!

Gorgeous new look Marjorie, worth waiting for!
Thoughtful interview, thank you.
You’re so sweet, Cara mia! Your interview is actually up next Monday. I know it’s a little late, but you can’t imagine how much work it took to get this much up. Wow, I’m kind of glad I didn’t know how steep the learning curve would be to transfer everything and set up the new site from scratch. Otherwise, it may never have happened.
Have a lovely day!
Salut,
Marjorie
