I just wanted to thank everyone–everyone!–who participated in the recent L’Bel Beauty Products Giveaway a few weeks ago! We’ve chosen a winner, aaonce, and will hopefully hear from her soon to confirm her prize. (Per the rules, if we don’t receive confirmation within 48 hours, the winner forfeits and a new winner will be drawn. I suspect, however, that I’ll be getting that confirmation!) I’m especially excited because a regular My Inner French Girl reader and supporter has won, and that’s always a wonderful thing!
Thanks also to everyone for sharing their amazing stories of beauty in the everyday! Some of the answers were so moving that I was in near tears. A few samples:
From Robyn: I feel most beautiful in the presence of my two children, especially shopping. They always say the most precious things that make me feel absolutely beatiful.
From Terri Dell: When I was younger, being with my grandma always made me feel beautiful and special. She had a love for all her grandkids that showed in all her actions. I miss her.
From Michele: When my husband and I were on vacation, just the two of us, away from our 6 kids (I think the one and only time away from them! lol) he made me feel beautiful everyday, we were like school kids in love all over again! Unfortunately he passed away 2 years ago at an early age, but he just didn’t make me feel beautiful then, he always made me feel beautiful, I miss him madly! (Ed.: My deepest sympathies to you and your children for your loss.)
From Melody: I feel the most beautiful when I’m in the midst of an intellectual conversation with another person. I am my most beautiful when my brains are on display!
